  • Call for Fall 2021 Presenters

Share your expertise with our nonprofit audience

We are committed to helping our members attain the skills, inspiration and support they need to engage donors, raise money, and communicate more effectively.

ADO's Professional Advancement Committee is soliciting proposals from qualified subject matter experts to conduct educational workshops for the coming fall (Sept - December 2021). You may submit a proposal to speak about any topic that is timely and relevant to fundraisers, but special consideration will be given to those that:

1) help our members prioritize diversity, equity and inclusion in their work/organization

2) address topics our members have recently expressed interest in:

        • Storytelling
        • Donor Cultivation (effective communications, stewardship through volunteerism, major gifts)
        • Events (new approaches, virtual and hybrid options, attendee/donor follow-up)

Is there a topic you are passionate and knowledgeable about?  Submit a proposal  Please note, many of our workshop participants work for small nonprofits, raising anywhere from $200,000 to $2,000,000 per year, and many are one-person development shops. Be sure to have clearly-defined takeaways and action items relevant to this audience. Preference will be given to proposals that are interactive, experiential, and include innovative ideas. Panel discussions and co-presenters are welcome!

Have you heard a great speaker that you’d like to recommend? Please send them a link to this page. We plan to offer a combination of virtual and in-person programming so you do not have to limit your suggestions to local speakers.
