Now more than ever it's prudent to consider how your organization can diversify your revenue. If you rely too heavily on one funding source, a few major donors, one big event, or a particular grant, opening up new income streams will help you increase your impact and reduce risk.

New format: Attendees will have the opportunity to discuss current events and your organization's challenges in small groups, share with the room, and learn from our experienced facilitator.

Whether you’re just getting started, want to learn new tactics or how to be more effective, or need advice to get your board “on board” with your ideas, you’ll walk away with something useful to implement.

Who should attend: Development professionals, executive directors, board members with fundraising responsibilities.

    Note adjusted timing:
    11:30 to 11:55 - Check-in, networking, lunch buffet
    11:55 - Announcements
    12:00 to 1:30 - Program

    Speaker:
Colleen Kane, Chief Advancement Officer, Port Chester Carver Center

Our members say:

“I’m engaging my donors as I like to be engaged: thoughtfully, respectfully, a dash of humor, and building the relationship – and the gifts are coming!”

“I am watching our board and staff move from skepticism about being able to raise money to being engaged and empowered.”

“I was able to get approval on increasing the frequency of an event from every two years to annually, and helped increase online giving by 12% through crowdfunding for a climate change research organization.”

“A fundraising audit prompted the creation of our first annual report…which led to three times the $$$ on our annual appeal. (And we won a design award for the report as well!)”
